Guzzle is built by Inspired Journeys. We designed Guzzle to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means.
The short version: Guzzle does not collect your data. Everything you log stays on your device.
Nothing. Guzzle has no account and no sign-in. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We never see your hydration data, because it never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it (see below).
All of your information — your profile (age, weight, climate), your daily target, your drink log, your streaks, levels, and badges — is stored only on your device, inside Guzzle's private app storage (the app sandbox). It is not uploaded to any server. We do not operate a server that receives your data.
Guzzle contains:
Guzzle is offline-first. It makes no network requests to send your data anywhere. The app works fully without an internet connection.
If — and only if — you turn on reminders, Guzzle asks your device for permission to show local notifications. These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by the operating system. Reminder content is generated on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. If you leave reminders off, no notification permission is used. You can change this permission any time in your device's Settings.
Guzzle includes an export feature so you can keep a copy of your own data. Your data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to export it, and only to the destination you select (for example, saving a file or sharing it through your device's share sheet). What happens to an exported file after that is under your control. We never receive a copy.
Because everything is stored locally, uninstalling Guzzle permanently deletes all of your Guzzle data from your device. You can also reset your data from within the app's Settings. We hold no copy to delete on your behalf, because we never had one.
Guzzle does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this address and update the effective date above.
